Prepare for my presidency in 2027, Kalonzo Musyoka

Kalonzo Musyoka explains why he'll be Ruto's nightmare in the 2027 presidential elections
Kalonzo Musyoka explains why he’ll be Ruto’s nightmare in the 2027 presidential elections.
For the first time, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has acknowledged that he will run for president in 2027.
The Azimio principal urged his Kamba community to get ready for his presidency in the upcoming general election while speaking on Sunday, November 27, in Ndalani, Machakos County, saying that nothing would stop his dream.
“Kamba community now rise up and be ready for 2027 because there is nothing that will hinder Kalonzo from becoming the next president of Kenya,” Kalonzo said.
The former vice president claimed certainty that he would take over Raila Odinga’s support base and win the support of the Nyanza region.
Now that the Luo community has begun endorsing Kalonzo for 2027, let’s hope they will honor their commitment to cast their votes for me, Kalonzo remarked.
Prior to the general election in 2027, he continued by saying that he would be President William Ruto’s greatest nightmare.
In the upcoming general elections in 2027, Kalonzo said, “President Ruto knows that I am the only challenge to him and he has accepted that I will be the only formidable rival to him.”
The leader of the Wiper Party, however, declared that he will provide the President with any support he may need in carrying out his duties for the benefit of the Kamba people.
“Even though we are in the opposition we are also in the government and we are ready to join hands with Kenya Kwanza government for developments in Ukambani,” he added.
Kalonzo had declared his intention to run for president in the August 9 general election before withdrawing at the last minute to support Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s bid.
After the elections the Wiper leader turned down President William Ruto’s invitation to join the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, claiming that Azimio had a better chance of winning the presidency come 2027.
