The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced over 1000 job vacancies across various Ministries and State Departments.

PSC issued a notice on Tuesday, June 17, inviting interested and qualified Kenyans to apply for the openings.

Vacant positions in the National Treasury include: Economic Policy Analyst II, Budget/Finance Officer II, and Internal Auditor.

In the State Department of Planning, there are Economist II/Statistician II jobs, while the Office of the President, the State Department of Gender and Affirmative Action have vacancies for Cohesion Officer II and Gender Officer II, respectively.

The State Department of Shipping & Maritime Affairs has openings for Government Clearing Officer II and Government Clearing Assistant II.

The State Department of Irrigation is seeking to fill the roles of Assistant Engineer II (Irrigation), Irrigation Water Management Officer II, Land Reclamation Officer II, Irrigation Development Coordination Officer II, Assistant Irrigation Quality Assurance and Licensing Officer III, and Assistant Land Reclamation Officer III.

In The State Department of Land and Physical Planning, there are vacancies for Land Registrar II, Photo lithographer II, Hydrographer II, Photogrammetrist II, Land Adjudication & Settlement Officer II, Land Administration Assistant III, Physical Planning Assistant III, Library Assistant III, Photolithographic Assistant III, Hydrographic Assistant III, Photogrammetry Assistant III, Cartography Assistant III and Geospatial Data Management Assistant III.

On the other hand, the State Department of Public Works has vacancies for Architect, Landscape Architect II, Architectural Assistant III, Inspector (Buildings), Engineer II (Electrical), and Inspector (Electrical) BS.

Other vacancies include; Inspector (Electronics), Engineer II (Mechanical), Inspector (Mechanical), Fire Officer II, Inspector II (Fire Services), Quantity Surveyor II, Quantity Surveyor Assistant III, Engineer II (Structural), Structural Assistant III, Designer II, Design Assistant III, Research Officer, Chief Building Inspection & Audit Officer, Senior Building Safety, Testing & Quality Assurance Officer and Enforcement Officer.

In the State Department of Sports, PSC announced openings for Sports Registrar and Sports Officer II.

Further, PSC announced Mechanical Engineer II (Mechanical & Transport), Lecturer II (KIHBT), Instructor III (KIHBT), Registered Nurse, and Library Assistant III positions in the State Department of Roads.

Interested candidates are required to apply for the positions online through the Public Service Commission’s portals at www.publicservice.go.ke.

“Beware of fraudsters soliciting for bribes from the public while masquerading as Commission staff. Public Service Commission does not charge any fee for job applications, shortlisting, interviews or appointments,” PSC stated.
