Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 9 candidates for the position of member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC)
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 9 candidates for the position of member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
In a notice on Friday, August 22, PSC said the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed for the position on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The shortlisted candidates include: Michael Thoyah Kingi (Kilifi), Mary Yiane Seneta (Kajiado), Abdul Bahari Ali (Isiolo), Richard Chacha Boke (Migori), and Zuleikha Juma Hassan (Mombasa).
Others are Kosiom Frank Kibelekenya (Narok), Abubakar Ketemon Lewano (Marsabit), Susan Chepkisur Chongo Nakoru (Baringo), and Teresiah Jerusah Michael (Kitui).
PSC said the shortlisted candidates should arrive at the commission’s headquarters in Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, 20 minutes before their scheduled interview time.
“The Commission would like to inform the shortlisted candidates that the interviews will be conducted on the date indicated above at the Public Service Commission, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi. The candidates should be at the venue at least twenty minutes before the starting time,” PSC stated.
The candidates are required to carry the originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates, transcripts, and any other supporting documents and testimonials.
They must also present current and valid clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), any of the registered Credit Reference Bureaus, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
In addition, they should provide a letter of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for any degree obtained from foreign universities.

At the same time, PSC invited members of the public to provide any credible information of interest relating to any of the shortlisted candidates through sworn affidavits to the PSC secretary via email src2025@publicservice.go.ke.
Kenyans can also hand deliver the information to the Office of the Secretary/CEO, Public Service Commission, situated on the 4th floor Commission House, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, before Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
The successful candidate from the interviews will be appointed as a member of SRC for a single term of six years and is not eligible for re-appointment.
SRC is tasked with inquiring into and advising on the salaries and remuneration to be paid out of public funds.
The commission also reviews all matters relating to the salaries and remuneration of public officers and advises the national and county governments on the harmonization, equity, and fairness of remuneration.
SRC is further tasked with making recommendations on the review of pensions payable to holders of public offices.
