Ruto allied MP put Uhuru to task to explain how he got a 2,000-Acre ranch at the age of 11

Ruto allied MP, Kimani Ngunjiri put Uhuru to task to explain how he got a 2,000-Acre ranch at the age of 11.

President Uhuru Kenyatta was questioned by Kimani Ngunjiri, on how he came into possession of a title for a 2,000-acre property in Nakuru County at the age of 11.

In a heated press conference on July 31, Ngunjiri asserted that he had a copy of the original title document, which stated that Uhuru held 2,000 acres as part of the 40,000-acre Gicheha farm owned by the Kenyatta family and was supposedly granted in 1972.

The MP questioned how President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was just 11 years old in 1972, his name was on a title document.

“I have a copy of the title of Gicheha Farm, 2,000 acres which you got in 1972, how old were you to get a title deed?” the outspoken MP posed.

The Ruto allied MP made the comments in light of Azimio’s remarks that they will repossess land owned by DP Ruto at the coast.

He warned Azimio politicians including Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho to desist from threatening to take over Ruto’s land.

He stated that any investigations on land should start with the huge tracts of land he claimed were owned by the Kenyatta family.

“Joho has no right to say he will get back Ruto’s 2,500 acres of land in Kilifi. You have no right to make such a move when it is clear the DP acquired the land rightfully,” Ngunjiri added.

According to Ngunjiri, the first family should start explaining how they came to own more than 100,000 acres of land spread over the nation.

The family of Kenya’s first president, he continued, held substantial parcels of land, including some in the Rift Valley and over 60,000 acres in Kwale, in addition to 11,000 acres in Limuru.

“Bring it on Mr. President. We respect you because you are president, but after exiting, you won’t need our respect anymore,” added Ngunjiri.
