Plane crashes into primary school building in Nanyuki forcing the students to scamper for safety.
Two people were injured on Friday afternoon after an aircraft crashed at Guara Primary School in Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
The pilot, a student at Mount Kenya Flight School, were completing a routine patrol under the guidance of his instructor before crashing the plane into one of the school’s buildings.
Students were forced to scamper for safety after learning activities were disrupted at the school.

Speaking to the media, one of the first responders revealed that they rushed to the school to confirm the safety of the students and the passengers onboard after they heard the commotion.
Shortly after, police officers and a rescue team were dispatched to the area.
“We saw someone rushing to the gate, asking for assistance to help us save the passengers. Fortunately, we were able to calm the students who were screaming and running for their lives,” he said.
The pilot and the instructor, who were gravely injured, were rushed to Nanyuki Cottage Hospital. No student was, however, injured during the incident.
