In a notice on Friday, September 12, the authority called on interested and qualified candidates to apply for the positions.
“To enhance its institutional capacity and deliver on its mandate, the SHA Board seeks to recruit visionary, result-driven, and experienced professionals to fill the following Senior Management positions,” read the notice in part.
The vacant positions include: Principal Office Administrator, Principal Registration and Compliance Officer, and Principal Registration and Compliance Officer/Principal Claims Management Officer (County Operations).
Other roles are Principal Legal Officer, Principal Provider Management Officer, Principal Funds Management Officer, Principal Finance and Accounts Officer, and Principal Benefits Management Officer.
The authority also has vacancies for Principal Human Resource Management and Development Officer, Principal Administration Officer, Principal Records Management Officer, and Principal Information and Communication Technology Officer.
Others are Senior Registration and Compliance Officer, Senior Claims Management Officer, and Senior Registration and Compliance Officer/Senior Claims Management Officer (Huduma Centers).
SHA also has openings for Senior Human Resource Management and Development Officer, Senior Administration Officer, Senior Records Management Officer, Senior Information and Communication Technology Officer, Senior Customer Experience Officer, Senior Corporate Communication Officer, Senior Planning and Linkages Officer, Senior Supply Chain Management Officer, Senior Driver, and Senior Internal Auditor.
Interested candidates must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution, which includes submitting a certificate of good conduct from the DCI, a tax compliance Certificate from KRA, a clearance certificate from HELB, a clearance from EACC, and a report from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

The applicants are required to write and submit their applications, including a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a cover letter demonstrating suitability for the position, and contacts of at least 3 referees.
The applications should be addressed to the Chairperson, Social Health Authority, P.O. Box 30443-00100, Ragati Road, Nairobi.
The applications can either be submitted online at https://recruitment.sha.go.ke/ or physically delivered to the SHA building, 10th floor.
The deadline for applications is October 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
This comes weeks after SHA announced 64 vacancies across various positions in the authority.
On September 2, the authority shortlisted 38 candidates for the director positions in Provider and Beneficiary Management, Benefits and Claims Management, Corporate Services, and Funds and Finance Management.
The candidates were interviewed on September 9, 2025, at the SHA headquarters, 10th-floor boardroom.
