Shock in Gem, Yala, as body parts discovered in two villages
Residents of Marenyo sub-location in Gem, Yala sub-county, were left stunned on Friday morning following the discovery of human body parts in two separate villages.
According to Assistant Chief Michael Otieno, two human arms were found inside a bar at the Sagam trading center in Sagam village.
In a separate location just a few kilometers away, a limb was discovered behind a residence in Kachola village.

Authorities from Sinaga Police Station, accompanied by the Officer Commanding Yala Police Station, went to the scene and closed it off.
The recovered remains have been transferred to the Yala Sub-County Hospital mortuary for forensic examination and identification.
The identity of the victim and the culprits remain unknown.
Police have launched investigations and are pursuing leads.
The disturbing incident comes barely two months after a Form Four student was tragically defiled and killed in Mindhine village, an area also within the same sub-location.
