Sonko Attacked After Storming Azimio Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga Rally In Mombasa.
Police were forced to fire in the air to disperse rowdy youth, who attacked Sonko’s convoy is made it’s way to the venue.
Sonko had earlier announced he would join the outgoing Mombasa governor, Hassan Ali Joho, and Mvita Member of Parliament, Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, at the event.
He stated that he will join the Azimio rally since his party Wiper, is backing Raila Odinga.

However, a confrontation ensued among supporters forcing the Police to fire to disperse the rowdy youth who were agitation at Mike Sonko’s decision to join the Mombasa gubernatorial race.
Sonko however decided to leave the rally after the crowd turned against him.
Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu condemned Sonko for allowing his convoy to drive in the middle of the field where people were seated.
