Teacher hacked to death by husband in Bomet
A 24-year-old female teacher was brutally hacked to death by her husband following a domestic altercation in Kiromwok area, Bomet County, on Monday night, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.
According to Bomet County Police Commander Edward Imbwaga, the deceased’s body was discovered within the family compound, lying in a pool of blood with deep cuts to her head and hand that appeared to have been inflicted with a panga.
According to police reports, the couple had a history of recurring domestic disputes, and relatives had attempted to mediate but failed.

The suspect, 27-year-old Lenox Kipngeno Korir, fled the scene right after the attack.
Police have launched a manhunt for him, but the murder weapon has not yet been found.
The deceased’s body has been moved to Longisa Hospital Mortuary while investigations and searches for the suspect continue.
Authorities have urged anyone with information on the suspect’s location to contact the nearest police station.
