As manager of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag wants to return the English powerhouses to the top of the European game, but for the time being, the Dutch coach is focused on reviving the career of one of his players.
In order to help Jadon Sancho, 22, realize his full potential at Old Trafford, Ten Hag has reportedly taken a particular interest in the player’s career.
According to reports, the Dutch manager of Manchester United has created a customized training regimen for the English star in the hopes that it could revive his career after a recent decline at the Manchester club.
They are hoping to have Sancho prepared for the second part of the season as the 22-year-old works with a Dutch coach that Ten Hag is familiar with.
Sancho was one of the world’s most sought-after young stars when he left Borussia Dortmund for Old Trafford in 2021 but things have not gone to plan since.
The winger did not have the best of seasons during Man United’s turbulent season, and things have not gotten much better after Ten Hag’s hiring.
It is now up to the Englishman to decide if he wants to realize his potential because the Dutch coach has shown an interest in making him a better player.
