Ten Hag wants all transfer business at Manchester United to be complete by July 8th, ahead of the preseason tour.
Sky Sports News has reported that the Ten Hang wants at least the bulk of his new signings to be completed before their preseason tour.
Manchester United’s transfer business has been slow but now things seem to be rolling back to place.
Several deals in the club are in the final stages and it looks like Ten Hag might just be granted his wish.
After a difficult month of negotiation with FC Barcelona over the transfer of Frenkie de Jong, a breakthrough was reached earlier in the week.
Only final details are left to complete the transfer, with no issues expected regarding personal terms with the player.
Manchester United have also hijacked Tyrell Malacia’s transfer and agreed a £17m fee with Feyenoord.
Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez is hopeful of a move to Manchester United.
According to Marcel van der Kraan (De Telegraaf), the Argentine is high on Erik ten Hag’s list.
Arsenal have been the favourites to sign the Argentine over the last couple of weeks but have so far failed to reach an agreement with Ajax.
But Marcel states: “Martinez is very high on Erik ten Hag’s wishlist, so I expect big developments in the 24 or 48 hours.”
“Martinez will also have his hopes pinned on United, who are an absolute top club for him.”
