A delegation from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party is set to meet Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday, February 7, for discussions on party leadership.

The 19-member team, led by UDA Secretary-General Hassan Omar, is in Uganda for a week-long retreat.

The team will engage with officials from Uganda’s ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party, to discuss areas of mutual interest between the two parties and their respective countries.

As part of their visit, the delegation will also tour the NRM Leadership Academy, which will serve as a model for a similar institution UDA plans to establish in Kenya.
