Uhuru stand on the Azimio future is the best news post elections according to former MP Kabando wa Kabando.

Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has applauded former president Uhuru Kenyatta for declaring support for the Azimio La Umoja Coalition.

The declaration made by Uhuru Kenyatta, in Wa Kabando’s opinion, was the best since the August 2022 elections.

“Uhuru’s declaration that he’ll be active in Azimio is the best news post2022 elections,” he said on Saturday.

The legislator also highlighted that strong opposition is very necessary in a nascent democracy.

He further noted that the Raila-Uhuru oversight of the Kenya Kwanza Government was good for the country.

“Kenya will be much better with an organized strong official opposition. Raila Uhuru’s oversight on UDA is potent! Good for Kenya!” Kabando added.

Former president Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday confirmed his stand in Azimio La Umoja Coalition.

He affirmed that he is still a member of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party, despite his silence.

“Even though I have retired from politics, I’m still a follower of Raila. If he asks me we go we have to do it. I supported him and I will continue doing so because I believe he is truthful,” Uhuru said.

Uhuru further affirmed his support for the Azimio leader Raila Odinga insisting that he will support him.

He explained that his support for Raila was because he had good intentions for Kenyans and whatever he says he will follow and support him.
