Vote recount ordered by the Supreme Court reveals glaring errors

Vote recount ordered by the Supreme Court reveals glaring errors, empty form 34A in Majengo, Mombasa despite declared tally.

Supreme Court officials are scrutinizing votes at Forodha House in the Milimani Law Courts area after judges ordered fresh scrutiny of the documents.

Court officials on Wednesday received at least 45 ballot boxes from 15 polling stations where the court ordered a recount.

The exercise is being undertaken under the supervision of IEBC and the Supreme Court Registrar.

However, during the vote recount, errors were found in forms 34A used to declare presidential results.

Scrutiny of Majengo poling station revealed that no results on form 34A book 1 of 2 and a blank book 2 of 2.

No entries were done.

The officials also noticed that Form 34A in Mvita primary school was not stamped.
