William Ruto reveals his plans if he loses the August elections

William Ruto reveals his plans if he loses the August presidential elections to his opponent Raila Odinga.

Kenya Kwanza Presidential candidate William Ruto has revealed what he’ll do if he doesn’t win the August presidential elections.

Speaking on Sunday, June 12 during an interview with NTV William Ruto expressed his commitment to accepting the verdict of the August election.

Ruto noted that he has served his best as a deputy president and he does not take for granted the milestone he has achieved so far in his life.

He appeared to suggest that he will spend time with his grandchildren if he loses the August polls as he charts his future plans.

“If I do not win in August. I have grandchildren; I will go to look after them. Also, I am happy to have served as deputy president of Kenya. That is deeply satisfying,” William Ruto said.

His statement that he will accept defeat comes only days after many pollsters indicated that Raila Odinga is leading him in the August 2022 State House race.

He stated that the August elections are for Kenyans to choose who they want to represent them.

Ruto has stated that he will not organize any protests if he’ll not be the winner.

“I did my best, I served my country and it is up to Kenyans to decide who will be their next president. I want to promise you that I will not organize any demonstration. I will not pull down any railway line.”
