Autopsy reveals how Eastleigh mother and two daughters were killed

Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor on Friday made public autopsy results of the gruesome killing of an Eastleigh mother, Wasir Daud, her daughter Amina Abdirashid, and niece Nuseiba Dahir
Chief Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor on Friday made public autopsy results of the gruesome killing of an Eastleigh mother, Wasir Daud, her daughter Amina Abdirashid, and niece Nuseiba Dahir.
Autopsies were conducted on Friday, October 25, on the bodies of the slain trio of family members hailing from Eastleigh.
The women’s bodies were dumped in different locations within the neighbourhood.
The deceased have been identified as Waris Daud (39), her daughter Amina Abdirashid (22) and her niece Nuseiba Dahir (13).
Chief government pathologist Johansen Oduor oversaw the postmortem on the three bodies.
The autopsy findings established that the trio was tortured before their deaths; their murders were, however, executed differently.

The 13-year-old was suffocated, the 22-year-old was stabbed, and the 39-year-old met her death after her throat was slit.
Oduor explained the brute the trio went through before their deaths.
“Dawud had her hands chopped off, and her neck almost severed totally, with injuries on the neck vessels and trachea,” said Oduor.
The pathologist further revealed that Nuseiba, the youngest of the victims, might have been sexually assaulted before the murder.
“There was also evidence which looked like rape, and we took samples for further analysis,” said the pathologist.
The murders thrust Eastleigh into activism where residents took to the streets in protests as they called for action on the suspected murders, who are yet to be brought to book.
