A Chief has been shot dead in Chipilat, Tiaty Constituency, Baringo County, while on a mission to recover stolen livestock.

The Chief was shot while engaging bandits who had raided Ngaratuko area on Thursday evening, with his body being discovered on early Friday morning after heavy gunfire.
