Body of missing boy retrieved from River Kuja in Migori
The body of a 4-year-old boy who went missing in Komenya Sub Location, Uriri Sub County, has been retrieved from River Kuja in Uriri, Migori County, after several days of search.
Uriri Sub-County Police Commander, Bashir Ali, confirmed that the boy’s body was retrieved on Thursday evening by family members who had been tirelessly searching for him over the past two days.

“The body of the boy was found in River Kuja, and preliminary examination indicates that he drowned,” Ali said.
The police boss further stated that the body has been moved to the mortuary and is awaiting burial arrangements.
The distraught family is yet to come to terms with the tragic loss.
