Bruno Fernandes gives hint on Cristiano Ronaldo’s future amid uncertainty

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United has been sorrounded with uncertainty amid speculation he’s looking for an exit.

Reports have suggested Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Manchester United this summer due to lack of Champions League sport.

Recently, there were unverified reports of a move to Chelsea after his agent met new Chelsea boss Toddy Boenly.

There were also Bayern Munich links to replace wantaway Robert Lewandowski.

However, speaking to Portuguese outlet Record, Bruno Fernandes dropped a huge hint about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United.

Bruno said he has not spoken to Ronaldo for weeks, but suggested he could remain at Old Trafford.

Fernandes revealed he believes Ronaldo will turn up to pre-season training, stating United will not want to lose their star man despite transfer links.

He said: “I spoke to him a few weeks ago – we’re both on vacation, no one bothers friends on vacation.

“I hope to meet him on [July 4] to train there [at Manchester United], I’m not expecting more than that.

“There is nothing more than that, but each one takes care of their future. I don’t believe that the club is willing to lose a player of the value of Cristiano.”
