Susan Kamengere Njoki, the CEO of Toto Touch, died from manual strangulation, an autopsy report has revealed.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, July 22, a team of six pathologists confirmed evidence of compression injuries to Njoki’s neck, consistent with her having undergone manual strangulation.

The post-mortem report further detailed that the severe neck compression led to lack of oxygen in Njoki’s bloodstream. It was this crucial deprivation of vital oxygen that  resulted in her death, according to the medical experts.

“All these features are in line with the death as a result of manual strangulation, which we are all in consensus,” Dr Joseph Ndungu, one of the six pathologists, confirmed.

According to the pathologists, there were other findings, but most of them were because of other conditions the CEO may have had, which were not part of what caused her death.

“The other findings may not be relevant as some of the post-mortem findings because they are not related to the cause of death,” the doctor continued.

The team found out that the CEO passed away a few hours after feeding. As they found food in her stomach, the doctors believe she passed on after having her last meal of the day.

“It didn’t take more than four hours before she died after feeding because there was still food in her stomach,” the doctor continued.

The pathologists also clarified that Njoki died in the hospital and not on her way to the hospital as per the reports the DCI gave them.

Njoki died on July 15, just a day after she was reportedly taken forcefully from her home and injected with foreign medicine before being taken to the hospital.

Audio recordings of Njoki revealed that her house in Kileleshwa had been stormed by several men, who forcibly took her and injected her, allegedly under the instructions of her husband.

In the chilling audio recording, Njoki recounted how two men forcibly restrained her while two nurses injected her against her will.

When she demanded to know where they were taking her, the men refused to answer, leaving her terrified and confused.

She placed her husband at the centre of her anguish, linking the tragic incident to a prior episode in which he allegedly insisted she remain hospitalised, even after completing treatment.
