Citizen TV host Azeezah later allayed fears indicating that Stivo Simple Boy had regained consciousness he collapsed live on stage.

Kenyan artist Stivo Simple Boy on Friday, March 15, collapsed on stage minutes after performing on 10 over 10 on Citizen TV.

The incident happened immediately after he had performed his two songs Freshi Barida and Vichuna where he appeared full of energy.

However, as he was being interviewed by Aziza Wanjiru Hashim popularly known as Azeezah he appeared to slouch forward, holding his knees, before falling on his back.

The incident sparked concern among viewers of the late-night show. 

Citizen TV host Azeezah later allayed fears indicating that Stivo Simple Boy had regained consciousness following the incident

“We just want you to know that he is feeling well and we will get him on call,” she assured the viewers.

Speaking on the phone, Stivo Simple Boy confirmed that he was okay despite the scary incident.

“I am okay for now, but I will issue a comprehensive statement on my social media platforms. People should not be worried, I will be okay,” Stevo Simple Boy stated.

Chief Executive Officer of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) Ezekiel Mutua also advised the artist to stay well following the incident.

“Glad to hear that Stivo Simple Boy is fine. Watching him collapse during a live TV interview on 10over10 Show on Citizen TV last night was scary. Good to hear that he’s ok now. God loves you my friend. You have more music to do and exploits to perform in the music industry. Keep well!”
