Deliverance Church Pastor strips minors naked and burns their legs for allegedly stealing cakes worthy KSh80.
Three minors are nursing leg burns after a pastor burnt their legs for allegedly stealing a packet of cakes worthy Ksh. 80 in Kabarnet, Baringo County.
Joseph Mduma, 35-year-old Deliverance Church pastor caught one of the kids stealing his cakes at a bakery within Kaptimbor shopping centre.
With the help of two other workers at the bakery, they began burning the boy’s feet using the bakery oven.
The little boy was forced to reveal his two friends whom he said had been sharing the cakes.
“I was stripped naked and beaten up. The three men at the bakery then held me with my legs on the top of the oven even as I kept pleading for forgiveness. They continued until I had no energy anymore. They then forced me to name my accomplices. I had no option but to name two of my friends to be released,” said the Form Two student.

The preacher together with his gang rushed to the homes of the exposed friends and whisked them to the bakery.
The man of God and his staff allegedly stripped the minors naked before burning their legs in an oven as punishment.
It took the intervention of the locals who were woken by the piercing wails of the boys.
Two of the minors are in secondary and one is in primary school.
Baringo County Police Commander Adamson Bungei confirmed the incident and said the two main suspects, Joseph Mduma, a pastor, and Daniel Cherop, have been arrested and are in custody in Kabarnet, awaiting arraignment.
“We are saddened that the pastor and his casual workers decided to take the law into their hands. We have arrested them and they will be arraigned.
The three minors are recuperating at Kabarnet hospital,” said Mr. Bungei.
