Dennis Itumbi explains how Ruto’s parallel tallying process was done in his affidavit
Dennis Itumbi explains how Ruto’s parallel tallying process was done in his affidavit to the Supreme Court case.
Blogger and President-elect William Ruto’s digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has filed an affidavit in response to a presidential petition challenging William Ruto’s win.
In an eight-page response to an affidavit made by John Githongo that placed him and 10 others at the center of an alleged election-rigging plan, Itumbi dismissed reports that they hired ICT gurus to facilitate the rigging.
“I have been shown an Affidavit by Githongo that alleges that he met with an unnamed whistleblower, who purports to have revealed details of his involvement with a ‘large scale, a well-orchestrated fraudulent scheme that enabled them to interfere with and compromise the IEBC electoral data transmission system and manipulate the presidential election results in favor of DP Ruto,” said Itumbi.
“Githongo’s narration and whistle-blower account is a fantasy and fictional story with shadowy imaginary characters and locations.” He added.
“There was no such tallying system which received data or images from the KIEMS kits, manipulated it, and then uploaded it to the IEBC system,” said Itumbi.
“I do not know any of these individuals other than Davis Chirchir. While I do know him from various interactions over the years, he and I did not work together in any capacity on issues of tallying during this election period.” He stated.
Itumbi, who operates what he refers to as the “Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau” said they had an elaborate tallying process of presidential votes.
Dennis Itumbi explained that the coalition deployed over 46,000 polling station agents with 4600 polling managers deployed to take charge of 10 polling stations.
The polling station managers reported to the Mashinani Hustler Nation Coordinators who were in each of the 290 constituencies.
They further engaged 4600 boda boda operators to transport the managers to collect the hard copy Forms 34As from their polling stations immediately they were signed by the presiding officers.
He said the forms were eventually brought to the UDA party Headquarters, domiciled at Hustlers Plaza on Ngong Road, Nairobi.
He said the forms obtained from the ground were used to compare with the results verified and announced at Bomas.
