Gachagua close aide Gilbert Kiptalam claims Itumbi instructed all State House bloggers to avoid posting about Gachagua since the 2022 elections

Speaking on Friday, Gilbert Kiptalam alias GK Malema accused certain state house officials of being behind the tribulations facing the deputy president.

Malema said Ruto must crack the whip on his staff and political allies’ demeaning and bullying behaviour towards Gachagua.

He accused State House officials of fostering discord between the president and his deputy through social media platforms.

“On multiple occasions, State House blogger Dennis Itumbi and his associates have disseminated negative information via WhatsApp groups and Facebook, aiming to undermine the Deputy President,” Malema said.

Malema criticized State House bloggers, likening them to aspiring MCAs more focused on competition than on their duties of promoting the accomplishments of the two principals.

He alleged that Itumbi had instructed all State House bloggers to avoid posting about Gachagua since the 2022 elections, despite the deputy president’s bloggers promoting content for the president.

The DP Gachagua aide urged the president to address this issue before it gets out of hand.

“When will his staff stop fighting the Deputy President?” Mahali tumefika,ni Rais atuambie ukweli wa mambo” aliongezea!” he added.

In addition, Malema called on the people of Mt. Kenya to unite behind Deputy President Gachagua and reject leaders who oppose him.

He described such leaders as “political parasites,” forcing the region to support leaders who do not represent their interests, likening them to brood parasite birds that lay their eggs in other birds’ nests, causing the legitimate eggs to be pushed out.

Malema warned that these divisive politics could spell trouble for the Kenya Kwanza alliance if they continue.
