Worshippers at a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church in Nakuru were left in shock after a violent altercation broke out during a Saturday service

Worshippers at a Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church in Nakuru were left in shock after a violent altercation broke out during a Saturday service.

A viral online video captured the dramatic scenes, showing a group of church members lining up on the pulpit as one man addressed the congregation using a microphone.

The man, appearing frustrated, accused another church member of denying him a chance to speak in the church despite having pressing concerns to raise.

“We understand this thing but you didn’t give us time to air our views. Now you’re rushing to pray. The church has orders. There is a procedure for doing things. This is not the procedure. We can’t do things like that…,” he said.

He further questioned why he had been reported to the area chief, arguing that church disputes should be resolved internally according to SDA rules.

Tensions escalated when another congregant shouted from the audience, alleging that someone had falsely accused them of plotting to harm another member.

At that moment, the speaker moved back, and chaos erupted as wailing and shouting filled the sanctuary.

Worshippers pushed and shoved, with some resorting to throwing punches while others grabbed plastic chairs to fight.
