The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has announced plans to auction multi-million properties in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Migori counties.

In a notice on Monday, September 22, EACC said it has engaged the services of Galaxy Auctioneers, Keysian Auctioneers, and Astorion Auctioneers to conduct the auction of the properties on its behalf.

“The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, P.O. Box 61130-00200 Nairobi, in exercise of its powers of sale as granted by various Courts, shall sell the undermentioned properties by public auction,” read the notice in part.

The first auction will be conducted by Galaxy Auctioneers on October 9, 2025, at the Pangani Auction Centre in Nairobi.

The auction will feature a three-bedroom apartment in Riara registered under Caroline Adhiambo Obwa, 2 two-bedroom units, and a maisonette in the Savannah area, all registered in the name of Jared Peter Oluoch Kwaga.

A townhouse in Loresho, complete with servant quarters and located within the exclusive gated Loresho Ridge Estate, also registered under Obwa, has also been listed for auction.

On October 16, Keysian Auctioneers in Kisumu will auction a four-storey block of flats with multiple rental units, jointly registered to Obwa and Lorenzo Oluoch Ochieng, a minor.

Meanwhile, Astorion Auctioneers will on the same day auction a commercial property along the Migori–Kisii road in Migori County.

The property is designed for office use, complete with electrified fencing, paved compound, and modern detached blocks.

The auctioneers will also auction a nearly complete apartment complex of 10 units with parking and borehole supply in Suna East.

Further, they will auction a residential and rental development featuring a three-bedroom bungalow and multiple two-bedroom rental units, owned by Yuda Otago Ouki, and two blocks of one-bedroom rental units owned by Joram Opala Otino.

EACC noted that bidders must pay a refundable deposit of KSh500,000 via banker’s cheque to obtain a bidding number.

Successful buyers will be required to pay 10 percent of the purchase price on the auction day and clear the remaining balance within 60 days.

“The declared purchasers of the properties must pay a deposit of 10% of the purchase price to Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission by close of business of the auction day; failure to which the auction deposit will be forfeited without further reference to the purchaser and the balance of the 90% within 60 days from the date of sale,” EACC added.
