Fuel prices remain unchanged in the latest review by Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that the maximum retail prices for petroleum products will remain unchanged for the period from February 15, 2025, to March 14, 2025.
In the latest price review, Super Petrol will continue to retail at Ksh 176.58 per litre, Diesel at Ksh 167.068 per litre and Kerosene at Ksh 151.39 per litre.
According to EPRA, the prices include a 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) as stipulated by the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024, and the revised excise duty rates adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020.
In EPRA’s statement, the average landed cost of imported Super Petrol increased by 2.80%, moving from $611.69 per cubic metre in December 2024 to $628.80 per cubic metre in January 2025.
Meanwhile, Diesel recorded a 4.20% rise, with its cost increasing from $644.10 to $671.14 per cubic metre over the same period.
Kerosene also saw a significant increase of 4.89%, from $649.64 to $681.44 per cubic metre.

It regulates the generation, importation, exportation, transmission, distribution and retail of electrical energy.
EPRA ensures compliance with set standards and promotes fair competition within the sector.
In addition to electricity regulation, it also monitors and regulates the importation, refining, storage, transportation, and sale of petroleum products.
