Gachagua to officially launch the DCP Party at Kasarani

“Confirmed, DCP Party Launch will be in Kasarani Indoor Arena on 3rd June 2025,” Gachagua stated.
This comes after DCP Secretary General Hezron Obaga wrote to the Kasarani Stadium Complex manager, booking the venue for the launch.
In the request letter, Obaga said the event is expected to host 5,000 attendees, including DCP party members, invited guests, supporters, and the media.
“I am writing to formally request to book the Kasarani Stadium Gymnasium for our official party launch event, scheduled for Tuesday, 3rd June 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
“The event is expected to host approximately 5,000 attendees, including party members, supporters, invited guests, and members of the press. We plan to use the facility for speeches, performances, and interactive sessions aimed at unveiling our vision, manifesto, and leadership to the Kenyan public,” the letter read in part.
In response, the Kasarani Stadium Complex management said the cost of hosting the event will total up to Ksh 3.7 million.

Using the indoor arena will cost the DCP party Ksh 1,392,000. Additional charges include fees for branding, catering, the presidential suite, VIP suites, kitchenette hire, cleaning services, exhibition space, live coverage, and floodlight usage.
Gachagua unveiled the DCP Party on Thursday, May 15, at the party headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi.
The party, which adopts the slogan Skiza Wakenya, is represented by neon green and white colours, while its symbol is a listening ear.
Cleophas Malala is the interim DCP deputy party leader, Mithika Linturi the national organizing secretary, while Cate Waruguru is the national women Leader.
