Government announces full Australian scholarship for KCSE students; How to apply
The Kenya High Commission in Canberra, Australia and the Stanley International College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will see credible Kenyan applicants score full scholarships to study at the university based in Perth, Western Australia.
In a notice on November 18, the commission invited eligible applicants who have attained at least a B plain in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) to apply for the two courses on offer; Bachelor of Community Service and Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology.
Applicants are also expected to have taken their English proficiency test with a satisfactory score of International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.5, with no individual band lower than 6.0 or equivalent.
Successful applicants will receive a 100% cover of their tuition fees and a waiver in the enrolment fee of AUD 230 (Approximately Ksh19,320).
The beneficiaries are then expected to enrol for the course immediately and study it continuously with no breaks till completion.

Relatives of staff at the High Commission of Kenya in Canberra are exempt from this scholarship and the commission will not receive any commission from the scholarship proceeds.
Candidates are also expected to be residents of Kenya at the time of the application.
How to Apply
Prospective applicants have been invited to retrieve the application form from Kenya’s Ministry of Education Website at education.go.ke.
The filled out form is then expected to be submitted to the high commission via the email address khc-canberra@kenya.asn.au
All applications are expected to have been delivered to the High Commission in Canberra by Friday December 6, 2024.
The commission maintains that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the way forward on their applications.
