Photos and videos of the incident seen by nairobileo.co.ke showed the bus engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing into the air.

No injuries or casualties have been reported from the inferno at the time of publishing this article.

Authorities are yet to confirm if the Guardian bus had passengers on board at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire remains unclear, and the Guardian Angel Bus Company is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.

The incident comes months after another Gurdian Angel bus burst into flames along Waiyaki Way.

The incident occurred on Monday, April 28, at the Gitaru Interchange connecting Wangige and the Southern Bypass.

The vehicle was filled with smoke, forcing the passengers to flee to safety. All the passengers were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported during the incident.

From the photos shared by eyewitnesses, the most affected area was the right side near the rear tyres, suggesting that the fire may have started there.
