“I’ll not allow Raila to reject my win like Uhuru” UDA presidential candidate Ruto

UDA presidential candidate Ruto has sounded a warning to his counterpart Raila Odinga, stating that he will not allow him to cause havoc if he loses the August 9 poll.

On Saturday, July 15, Ruto said that he would not hesitate to send Raila home, in contrast to President Uhuru Kenyatta who had permitted Raila to contest the election results.

“You heard the President say that Raila wanted to cause problems. I am telling him that I am not Uhuru. I will not entertain you,”

“This time, I will not allow you to swear yourself in, there will be no throwing of stones, there will no be demonstrations nor tibim or tialala,” he added.

UDA presidential candidate William Ruto, however, noted that he anticipates Raila Odinga to retire peacefully after he loses the election.

“Once we finish with you, you will go home peacefully. If you need help, we have a wheelbarrow, and we will ferry you all the way to Bondo,” Ruto added.

Ruto also reaffirmed his exhortations to the Azimio candidate to refrain from attacking the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

According to him, the commission’s insistence that the manual voter register be used in addition to the electronic system was proof that he was worried about losing the election.

Ruto further claimed that Raila was fabricating political opinion poll results to show that he was the front-runner.
