Kivutha Kibwana (former Governor of Makueni County), and Bishop Oginde (former CITAM Bishop) among the 14 candidates shortlisted for EACC chairperson.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced a shortlist of 14 candidates for the position of Chairperson of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in Kenya.
Kivutha Kibwana, former Governor of Makueni County, former IEBC commissioner Thomas Letangule, and renowned lawyer Charles Kanjama are among those who have made the shortlist.
The other candidates are Benjamin Adam Mure Mweri, Abdihafd Abdullahi Yarow, Amani Yuda Komora, Kaberia Isaac Kubai, and Eliud Wanjao Ngige.
Others are David Adang Oginde, Susan Nekesa Ngera, Josiah B Onyancha, Norah Chepkemoi Mutai, Kenneth Sakwa Buliba, and Justa Wawira Mwangi.
The successful candidate will replace Eliud Wabukala who retired on January 17, 2023.
Wabukala was a former Head of the Anglican Church in Kenya and served as EACC Chairperson for six years.

The PSC invited qualified Kenyans to apply for the position on January 20, 2023, after it was advertised in print media and on its website.
The application period closed on February 2, 2023, with a total of 89 applications received.
The interviews will be conducted on February 27 and 28 at the PSC offices on Harambee Avenue.
The candidates will be required to bring original copies of their documents and clearances from various government bodies.
Members of the public can also provide any credible information relating to any of the candidates through sworn affidavits or online through hodrands@publicservice.go.ke by February 24th.
