The Diploma in Law, also known as Paralegal Studies, is designed to equip learners with foundational legal knowledge and practical abilities required to support advocates, judicial officers and other legal practitioners in various legal and administrative roles.

The move by the Kenya School of Law to take its application to KUCCPS comes at a time when hundreds of thousands of students who did their KCSE examinations in 2025 wait for the placement body to open applications for university placement services.

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) was the first college to open its applications through the placement service in 2026, with university applications scheduled to be opened by March 2026.

According to the Ministry of Education, a total of 993,000 candidates sat the national examination in 2025, with 270,715 candidates attaining a mean grade of C+ and above, making them eligible for direct entry into university.

507,131 candidates attained grade C and above, while those who scored D+ and above totalled 634,082.
