Teacher who had been missing since 30th December found dead in nurse’s home with his body mutilated.
A teacher from Nyamira County who went missing on December 30, was found dead in a nurse’s house on January 1.
The body of Ezekiel Nkeere Gitangwa, age 47, was found dead and mutilated in what the police are investigating as a probable homicide.
Since the day Ezekiel was reported missing, the police launched a thorough search.
“We received a report from the teacher’s wife Gladys Bonareri Achoki that her husband was missing,” a police report read.
“The wife had reported that her husband was dropped by a Boda Boda rider at Egesieri village, West Mugirango location.”
“A search was immediately mounted that led investigators to the house belonging to a nurse who works in Nyamira County,” the report further revealed.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Ezekiel’s body hidden in a poultry house and covered with a carpet.
A the time of retrieving the body, the nurse was not around.
A police report says the body had started decomposing.
The body has been moved to Nyamira Level Five Hospital morgues as police commence investigations and search of the main suspect.
