Morara Kebaso details how his team was attacked during visit to Narok County

Political activist Morara Kebaso has decried attacks during his tour of Narok county on Saturday, October 19
Political activist Morara Kebaso has decried attacks during his tour of Narok county on Saturday, October 19.
Morara was in the county with his motorcade to inspect projects that stalled despite being appropriated monies.
He started with the Narok Referral Hospital, which he claimed was allocated close to Sh 1 billion, but the value for the money had yet to be seen.
Morara and his team later proceeded to the Narok KMTC, which he claimed was allocated money twice; Sh 288 million and Sh 118 million, but the works were yet to be seen.
The team was headed to the Uhuru Market to mobilise a clean-up exercise before the unforeseen attack happened.
“I intended to go to Maasai Mara University road and so many other projects that we wanted to see where the taxpayer’s money went, but unfortunately, we could not finish our work because we were attacked by individuals sent, and one of my vehicles is damaged,” said Morara.

Morara claimed that the attack was masterminded by a politician within Narok, whom he did not mention.
He asserted that a 50-member group undertook the attack, first by blocking the road they were to use; they pelted one of the vehicles with stones.
The activist narrated that one of the vehicles’ tyres burst, and the occupants alighted to run to their safety.
Some were captured and beaten, leaving them with injuries.
Those injured were rushed to the hospital.
“I am shocked that a whole leader can use his own personal car to ferry county workers to attack Kenyans whose only crime is to expose the truth. When they escaped the more than 50 people that you had hired to block the road, your goons followed us in two vehicles (a Prado and a white pickup) and could even be seen attacking us,” narrated Morara.
