The mother of the main suspect in the murder of Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo defends her daughter over murderer claims.

Speaking in an interview on NTV, the mother defended her daughter casting doubts her daughter is capable of taking a life.

However, she admitted that the girl is a juvenile delinquent with a rough past.

She revealed that the girl was initially studying at Olympic Primary School in Kibra, but was eventually transferred to Dagoretti Approved School after she started misbehaving in Class 4, with cases of skipping school and allegedly stealing clothes in the nearby Toi market.

The mother also spoke about liters of Salad Oil that the girl had brought home some days before Eric Maigo’s murder, claiming it was given by an NGO.

However, according to the revelation by NTV, this was found to be false after confirmation.

She said her daughter came home with marks on her body, which she said her friends who were with her had caused.

The mother also insisted that even though her daughter was a thief, she was not a murderer.
