This comes days after Samidoh shared a cryptic post following reports that he was being transferred to Baringo.
In a social media update on Thursday, May 29, Samidoh shared a photo of himself standing beside a UK police vehicle, dressed in a tracksuit.
“When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty, Thomas Jefferson,” Samidoh captioned the post.
Samidoh’s troubles began on May 16 after a video of him in a live performance went viral on social media, in which revelers were chanting ‘wantam’, a phrase used by opposition leaders in campaigning against the re-election of President William Ruto.
Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, while commenting on the reports of Samidoh being transferred, stated that police officers are transferred in accordance with their regulations.
“Police officers are civil servants and are subject to regulations and procedures, including transfers. If the officer you have mentioned is one of us, then he is subject to those conditions,” Kanja said on May 28.
