Nelson Havi among the poll losers rewarded in President William Ruto’s latest appointment.

A section of politicians who lost in the August 2022 polls have something to smile about after they landed state jobs.

In the latest appointments, former Westlands MP aspirant Nelson Havi was named a member of the Retirement Benefits Authority board.

Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u appointed the former Westlands parliamentary contestant in a notice dated Friday, February 10.

Nelson Havi succeeded Abdirahin Abdi, whose appointment was revoked.

Others appointed include; Jack Ranguma, Cleophas Lagat, Charles Njagua Jaguar, Daniel Rono, Yusuf Chanzu, Sakwa Bunyasi, Lily Ng’ok, and Beatrice Kones have all been appointed to chair various boards.

Former Kisumu Governor Ranguma has been appointed chair and board member of the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (Sasra).

Former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu was appointed chair of the National Housing Corporation board.

Sakwa Bunyasi has been appointed chairperson Vision 2030 Delivery board.

Daniel Rono was appointed the chairperson of the Kenya Medical Supplies Agency (Kemsa) board, for a period of three years as President Ruto revoked the appointment of Mary Chao Mwadime.

Dr. Samier Muravvej was appointed chairperson of the Board of Directors of Kenyatta National Hospital for a period of three years.

This followed the revocation of Beryl Okumu’s appointment.
