National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has released an addendum to its earlier advertisement on the recruitment of police constables

The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has released an addendum to its earlier advertisement on the recruitment of police constables.

In a notice on Tuesday, September 30, the commission said the addendum follows advertisements published on September 19 and September 20 in the Daily Nation and Standard Newspaper, respectively.

According to the NPSC, several recruitment centres that were inadvertently omitted from the initial advertisement have now been included.

On Tuesday, October 7, new centres will include Nuu TVET Grounds in Kitui County, Sabuli in Wajir County, Zombe Stadium in Kitui County, and Kokane in Tana River County.

On Wednesday, October 8, additional centres will include Kibu’nga in Tharaka Nithi County, Thuura Secondary School in Meru County, and Mathuki DCC’s Grounds in Kitui County.

The commission also listed corrections to centres that were previously advertised. On Friday, October 3, recruitment in Kilifi North will now be held at Karisa Maitha Stadium.

In Nairobi’s Embakasi Central, the venue has been updated to Humama Grounds, while Embakasi North will use Dandora Stadium.

On Monday, October 6, Bungoma’s recruitment will be conducted at Sirisia Sports Grounds in Sirisia Sub-County, while in Homa Bay’s Suba West Sub-County, the venue will be Sena Air Strip.

At the same time, Kiambu’s Kabete Sub-County will host recruitment at Kirangari Vocational Training Centre.

Additional centres for Tuesday, October 7, have also been specified, including Onunga Stadium in Homa Bay County, Alliance High School in Kiambu County, Kaloleni Grounds in Kilifi County, Lunga Lunga Secondary School in Kwale County, Chepkigen in Ziwa in Uasin Gishu County, and Ganze Primary School in Kilifi County.

On Wednesday, October 8, the designated centres will include Igamba Ng’ombe DCC Grounds in Tharaka Nithi County, Old Municipal Stadium in Kitui County, and the Playground next to Mwihoko Police Station in Kiambu County.

For Thursday, October 9, the centres include Marafa Polytechnic in Kilifi County, Mutitu Stadium in Kitui County, St. Lukes Boys Secondary School in Kitui County, and Pan Paper Grounds in Bungoma County.

NPSC also made a clarification regarding National Youth Service (NYS) graduates. It encouraged those who meet the minimum entry requirements to apply, but stressed that recruitment will still take place at the designated county centres.

Applicants have been advised that they may also fill, download, and print the application form using the link provided on the official website: https://npsc.go.ke.

The NPSC added that all other information contained in the earlier advertisement remains unchanged and urged applicants to take note of the changes when reporting to their centres.
