NYS announces job opportunities in UAE for graduates; How to apply

The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced 100 job opportunities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its graduates.

In a notice, NYS stated that the opportunities are facilitated by a well-established and registered manpower outsourcing company in Kenya.

“It is with great pleasure we inform our esteemed graduates about promising opportunities for fabricators in the United Arab Emirates facilitated by our well-established and registered manpower outsourcing company in Kenya,” NYS stated.

The service noted that it was seeking 100 male graduates to fill the positions, which will be on a renewable two-year contract period.

It further stated that accommodation, transport, medical insurance, employment visa and resident permit will be provided by the company.

However, NYS disclosed that successful candidates will bear the pre-departure cost and medical examination cost.

Qualifications

Diploma/Trade certificate in welding/fabrication or 2-3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in operating fabrication equipment such as grinders and drills is required.

Interested candidates should also be familiar with various welding techniques and capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and standards.

“Practical interviews are scheduled for Friday, November 8, in Nairobi.

Candidate who meet the job qualifications will receive further information regarding the specific location and time of the interview,” NYS explained.
