People around Uhuru sabotaged Raila Odinga, Otiende Amollo

Uhuru Kenyatta supported Raila Odinga for the presidency but people around him didn’t according to Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo.

Otiende Amollo, a Rarieda MP, has now asserted that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s entourage did not back Raila Odinga’s candidacy on August 9.

Speaking on Sunday, the lawmaker claimed that some people had deceived the leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance.

“But we must say some things. There are people who were duping Jakom (Raila),” Otiende said.

“The president himself was supporting Raila but the people around him were not supporting him. I think they sabotaged us.”

He explained that the said characters duped Raila before and during the elections.

“Those ticks (said people) must now leave” he added.

Otiende Amollo claimed that Raila’s win was stolen at the ballot, at the Supreme Court and in parliament.

When asked to clarify his sentiments, the Rarieda MP claimed that Raila was being duped by those who were close to him and the outgoing President.

The sycophancy that has obscured the politics of the area and Raila’s ambition, according to Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi, must now be dealt with.

The sycophants, according to him, were not teachable and were oblivious of Raila’s loss.

It’s time to think, Atandi declared.

However, Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga reassured the community’s residents that the new administration will not in any way imperil.

In light of Raila’s defeat, he also advised colleagues to refrain from immediately assaulting those with whom they disagree.

“Let’s not tell people to leave right now. Let’s move slowly “said Oburu.
