Radio Africa Group breakfast show presenter, Aleem Manji attached to  East FM radio dies after 15 years at the station.

Radio Africa Group is in mourning following the death of one of its breakfast show hosts, Aleem Manji.

Aleem Amin Abdul Manji, who hosted the East FM breakfast show, was Sunday announced dead.

The media station also eulogized him as a consummate professional and a great team player.

“It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our breakfast presenter Aleem Manji. We will miss you Aleem. Over 15 years of laughter, warmth, and immense joy,” East EFM said in a statement.

The station went further to describe the deceased as a team player and friend who contributed immensely to the success of the station.

Manji died at the age of 45.

The presenter died just six days after celebrating his birthday with his family and friends.

Manji is set to be buried on Tuesday, November 14 at 9.15 am at the Aga Khan Complex and Pavilion.

The deceased is survived by a wife of 13 years and two children.

East FM is the leading Asian radio station in Kenya and is owned by Radio Africa Group.
