In his message on Friday, November 28, Ruto acknowledged the candidates’ victories, describing them as deserved.
“Congratulations David Ndakwa (Malava), Leonard Wamuthende (Mbeere North), Ahmed Hassan (Banisa), Vincent Chemitei (Baringo), Moses Omondi (Ugunja), Harrison Kombe (Magarini), and Boyd Were (Kasipul) for your deserved win,” he said.
Ruto further stated that the outcome of the by-elections serves as a reminder of the strength that comes from national unity.
“Your victory is a powerful reminder to us that we are bigger and better as a country when we are united,” he added.
Elsewhere, Wamuthende has thanked Mbeere North residents for electing him as their Member of Parliament.
Speaking on Friday, November 28, Wa Muthende reaffirmed his commitment to serving the residents of Mbeere North.
He vowed to ensure fairness in the distribution of bursaries and development projects across Mbeere North.
“I want to thank the people of Mbeere North, whichever side you chose. I am now a member of the national assembly. I have made a commitment not only to those who elected me but to all residents of Mbeere North.
“I will be fair, I will discharge my duties without any discrimination; I will meet all my pledges, I will ensure fair distribution of bursaries, free secondary education for day schools and development,” he said.

Wamuthende also vowed to complete development projects that were started by his predecessor, Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku.
“I am very committed to serving the people of Mbeere North and more so to ensure the steps made by the former member of parliament, whatever projects that are underway, I will complete and start others,” he concluded.
In its congratulatory message, UDA suggested that the people of Mbeere North used the ballot to push back against intimidation and uncertainty.
“The people of Mbeere North have chosen a path of development, dignity, and stability. They have stood firm for the UDA vision that uplifts communities, protects democratic choice, and puts the needs of ordinary citizens first.
“Your victory is not just political, it is a testament to the resilience and resolve of a community that refuses to be swayed by chaos or deception,” it said.
UDA noted that the election was anchored in a deeper desire for long-term progress.
