Raila claims 2,000 hackers have been hired to mess with IEBC servers

2,000 hackers are currently manipulating IEBC election data in the servers according to revelations by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga now claims some 2,000 hackers have been recruited to tamper with IEBC servers.

At a Thanksgiving celebration held at the residence of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday in Yatta, Raila claimed that the hackers were faking vote results by altering data on the servers.

“Tulisikia sijui waliweka vijana elfu mbili ambao wanajaribu kubadilisha maneno ndani ya hiyo server. Tunawaangalia, tunawaona, tunawaambia weeeh mtaona mkicheza,” Raila said.

The Azimio boss launched a verbal attack at Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale( a member of the bipartisan committee) who on Thursday dismissed the Azimio calls for the opening of the servers.

Raila faulted the lawmaker for misrepresentation of facts saying what was opened on the Supreme Court’s orders were ballot papers, not servers.

“Hizo masanduku si server, bwana Khalwale rudi shule ” he said.

Khalwale dismissed the calls saying the servers were opened during the petition hearing process at the Supreme Court.

In addition, Raila also asked Ruto to denounce his deputy Rigathi Gachagua over remarks that the government is like a shareholding company.

Failing which, Raila said he will lead calls for self-determination against the Kenya Kwanza government at the United Nations.

The opposition leader insisted that Gachagua’s assertions that state jobs will first be dished out to those who voted for the Kenya Kwanza administration must be condemned by Ruto.

If the President does not reprimand Gachagua in seven days and clarify the government position, Raila said, he will lead calls for secession so that Azimio supporters can chart their own destiny.

”If your deputy has said he will be assessing shares and you have not denied that we want to give you one week to denounce that and if not we will write to the UN to ask for self-determination,” Raila said.

Speaking at Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s Yatta home, Raila accused President Ruto of perpetuating tribalism in his administration while pushing out other tribes from the government.

”We must correct these imbalances so that we know how many CSs, parastatal heads and where they come from..every Kenyan must feel greatly accommodated in government,” Raila said.

Raila claimed that President Ruto is busy appointing people from a few tribes daily while leaving other communities marginalized.

”In newspapers every day we are reading names from one community….that must stop now Mr. Ruto, it must end now,” Raila said.
