Raila Odinga tells of Ruto over his recent remarks that the only remaining job is to take Azimio leader back to Bondo.

Speaking in Othoo on Saturday during the opening ceremony of the Seventh Day Adventist church, Raila said he does not need Ruto to get to Bondo.

Raila went on to say that he knows the way to Bondo (his home town).

“You are obsesses with saying your next responsibility is to take Raila to Bondo. Raila knows how to get to Bondo. I don’t need Ruto to take me to Bondo,” Raila said.

The response by Raila comes after Ruto vowed to send Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga back to his rural home in Bondo, Siaya County.

Speaking in Nyeri during his Mt Kenya tour, President Ruto said the former Prime Minister will go to bondo even without realizing it.

“The only remaining job I have is to send Raila Odinga back to Bondo, actually he will go without even knowing it,” said Ruto.

Ruto ruled out a possibility of doing a handshake with Raila saying the fresh bipartisan talks will touch on issues affecting Kenyans.

“The time for competitive politics and positions for leaders ended in the last election. No handshake. The work ahead of us is about the needs of the people,” the president stated.

He told Kenyans not to worry of a handshake between him and the Opposition leader.

He said that as the President, the opposition cannot dupe him into an agreement.

“They did not manage us before, how will they do it then now? I told you there is no deep state that I don’t know. I told you they could not steal my votes. Now you think now they can confuse us so that they get into government? Whose government?” he posed.
