Raila’s aide, Silas Jakakimba accuses Winnie Odinga of insulting him over a cover photo he posted with Ruto.
Silas Jakakimba claimed that Winnie Odinga, the last born of Raila insulted him after he posted a cover photo of him with President William Ruto.
He accused Raila’s daughter of being disrespectful to him as he has been devoted to her father for years and given him his unquestionable loyalty.
In a Twitter post that attracted myriad reactions on the platform, Jakakimba said Winnie had used profane language on him, and he further demanded that she respects him.
“Winnie Odinga used F’Word on me last night for what she terms betrayal in lieu of my cover photo. What she fails to appreciate: We respect Jakom, done half the years of my life around him, and if she cares to know, we’ve had to hard-furnace via invisible sacrifices to that cadre of loyalty,” he said.
“It is imperative moving forward that Winnie learns to respect people for who they are – if not least, for what they’ve been in a long journey of several lows and countable highs, for love of Country. Jakakimba,” he added.

Raila Odinga picked Jakakimba from the National Youth Vote Coalition to serve as his personal aide during the 2007 presidential campaign and for four years during the Grand Coalition government.
Jakakimba still serves as Raila’s aide to date.
This is not the first time that Winne has clashed with her father’s allies.
After the hotly contested 2022 presidential election, Winne Odinga found herself in trouble with netizens after her series of wild tweets.
She was accussed of arrongance leading to her father’s loss in the August general elections.
