Revealed! Inside plan to arrest Raila Odinga

There's a plan by Ruto's administration to arrest Raila Odinga but undecided on who should do it according to Sifuna

There’s a plan by Ruto’s administration to arrest Raila Odinga but undecided on who should do it according to Sifuna.

According to ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, those who want Azimio Chief Raila Odinga arrested are divided over how to carry out the arrest.

The Nairobi Senator made the revelations while speaking at an interview with the media on Wednesday.

“The leadership of Kenya Kwanza is in agreement that Baba needs to be arrested, and the police are in agreement that Baba needs to be arrested,” he said.

“Their minions are in agreement that Baba needs to be arrested. However, where they are stuck is the person who will make the arrest.”

Sifuna said those that seek the arrest of Raila ought to sit down and agree amongst themselves who will do it.

Sifuna further said he had received a message from their lawyer that he and former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya have been summoned by the DCI.

“I have been summoned to the DCI. Though they have not sent me a written summon. I just heard it from Danstan Omari who is the coalition lawyer and they said they want me and Oparanya to appear before them. We don’t know for what,” he said.

Sifuna said if the government has a problem with Raila, they should move to arrest him and not intimidate Azimio members.

His statement comes after Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua on Monday warned of any attempt to arrest Raila will be disastrous to the country.

“I want you to understand that they want to arrest Baba. If they lay a hand on him, they lay a hand on Kenya,” Karua said.
