Ronaldo’s relationship with Ten Hang “hit rock bottom” after public critique, Report
Ronaldo’s relationship with Ten Hang “hit rock bottom” after public critique and is now said to be determined to leave.
After the Manchester United manager publicly criticized Cristiano Ronaldo for leaving Sunday’s friendly match against Rayo Vallecano early, the player is reportedly “furious” with Erik ten Hag.
Last Sunday, Ronaldo was seen departing Old Trafford before the final whistle.
The summer’s first appearance by the Portuguese superstar for United saw him play the first 45 minutes before being replaced by Amad Diallo.
Ronaldo and Ten Hag were spotted conversing on the touchline at one point in the opening period.
Some believed at the time that the two probably didn’t have a strong relationship.

According to the Metro, Ronaldo is “furious” at his manager’s public criticism and their relationship has reached a “rock low,” as The Daily Star exclusively reported.
According to the article, Ronaldo is “more determined than ever” to find a new team.
Ten Hag’s remarks, according to the article, may have been Ronaldo’s “last straw” after he skipped Man Utd’s pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Ronaldo won’t be in the starting line-up for United’s opening match of the new Premier League season against Brighton this weekend.
Ten Hag is set to opt for Anthony Martial up front, flanked by Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.
Ronaldo was expected to be on the bench, although today’s developments mean that’s no longer certain.
