Ruto and Wajackoya set to launch their manifesto the same day on Thursday ahead of the August general elections.

Deputy President William Ruto is set to launch his manifesto on Thursday, 30, June.

The launch will happen the same day his opponent Roots party presidential candidate Prof Wajackoya will be launching his manifesto.

Ruto’s manifesto launch will take place at Kasarani stadium from 6:30 pm.

According to Hussein Mohamed, director of communications for DP Ruto’s campaign, it will be broadcast live on television, online platforms, and radio stations.

According to Hussein, the manifesto would support the bottom-up economic theory, which incorporates suggestions from the public as well as the Kenya Kwanza Coalition economic team.

“The August 2022 election is about the economy and only Kenya Kwanza has a plan on how to liberalize. And revive the economy,” he said.

“That plan will be shared tomorrow together. With commitments to initiate necessary measures to meet the hopes and expectations of our people.”

In addition, the Kenya Kenya Kwanza alliance has encouraged its leaders to organize viewing sessions of the manifesto launch.

“We encourage our leaders to organize viewing sessions their wards, constituencies as well as their county ground so that our people can witness the making of this covenant and follow grand occasion in their millions,” Hussein stated.

Wajackoya manfesto launch

Meanwhile, Roots party presidential candidate Prof Wajackoya is set to launch his manifesto today, 30, June.

In a statement, Roots party Spokesperson Wilson Muirani announced that the Roots party will have its manifesto launch at the KICC from 4 PM Thursday.

“We hereby, invite all media houses to roots party manifesto launch at KICC on 30th June 4 pm till late. Kindly provide coverage as Prof Wajackoya and Justina Wamae unveil their vision for the Kenya We should be living in, a Kenya of progress and prosperity for everyone” read the statement.
