Ruto announces his government will offer 100 percent education scholarships to University students.

President Ruto said the government was taking measures to upgrade the education sector and would offer full scholarships to students pursuing higher education.

Ruto made the statement on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Vihiga where he launched the Vihiga Last Mile Water Supply Project in the Sabatia Constituency of Mbale.

Ruto noted that his administration has reached an understanding with numerous education stakeholders to guarantee that students pursuing higher education receive full scholarships.

The President also gave the people assurance that the administration was making important moves to improve the educational system and guarantee that every child receives an education.

Ndo niliwaambia tutapunguza gharama ya mbegu ya mbolea. Mbolea mlikua mnanunua na elfu saba nmerudisha mpaka elfu tatu na mia tano na hio 3,500 bado nitapunguza mpaka 2,500 after two weeks,”
